Brazilian national football team Winner 2007 South American U-20 Championship Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva (born September 2, 1989, in Pato Branco, Paraná), better known as Alexandre Pato, is a Brazilian striker currently playing for Italian club AC Milan. He helped Brazil win the 2007 South American Youth Championship, which qualified the country for the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, and has been selected by Dunga for the 2008 Summer Olympics. He has really showed his true skill in the Brazilian national team, and most likely he will continue in the national U-20 team. He scored his first goal for the senior team on his debut against Sweden at the Emirates Stadium on March 26, 2008, off a mistake made by the Swedish goalkeeper, Rami Shaaban who, attempting to clear the ball from a considerable distance from goal, had his attempt blocked by Pato, who sent home a brilliant curling shot from a tight angle outside the box.
